Privacy policy
This policy covers the games and applications published by Eyebolt, Inc. on Google Play. We collect as little as we can: diagnostic data when something crashes, and anonymous statistics about how the app is used. We do not collect information that identifies you.
Who we are
Eyebolt, Inc. is a software company in Austin, Texas, and is the developer responsible for the apps this policy covers. You can reach us at info@eyebolt.com.
What we collect
Two categories of data, and nothing else:
- Crash diagnostics. When the app stops unexpectedly, we receive a report describing the failure: the stack trace, the app version, the device model, the operating system version, and the time it happened.
- Usage statistics. Aggregate, anonymous measurements of how the app is used, such as which screens and features are opened, how long sessions last, and how often the app is launched.
These reports are generated automatically by the app and by the Google Play platform. They may include a randomly generated installation or device identifier, which lets us tell one crash from another and count sessions correctly. That identifier is not linked to you, and we make no attempt to connect it to a person.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, request, or store your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, photographs, contacts, messages, files, precise location, health data, or payment details. We do not ask you to create an account with us, and we do not build a profile of you.
Why we collect it
Crash diagnostics tell us what is broken so we can fix it. Usage statistics tell us which parts of an app people actually use, so we know what to improve. That is the whole purpose. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not use it to make decisions about individual people.
Who else sees it
Crash reports and usage statistics are processed on our behalf by Google as part of the Google Play platform and its developer tools, under Google's own terms and privacy commitments. Beyond that, we do not share this data with anyone. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it. We would disclose data only if legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
We keep crash diagnostics and usage statistics only as long as they are useful for fixing and improving the apps, and no longer than the retention period offered by the tools that process them on our behalf. Because the data is anonymous and aggregated, it cannot be traced back to an individual device once collected.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, no such data is gathered in the ordinary course. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can stop all collection at any time by uninstalling the app. Android also lets you limit diagnostic reporting and advertising identifiers in your device settings, and Google Play lets you manage what is shared with developers from your Google account. If you have a question about data associated with your use of one of our apps, email us and we will help as far as anonymous data allows.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect in a released version of an app.
